Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to use of YCH Assistant by authorized users. By using YCH Assistant, you agree to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

1. Purpose of YCH Assistant

YCH Assistant is a productivity, workflow and coaching tool intended to support insurance-related client servicing, follow-up, prospecting, recruitment, scheduling, agency management and related work.

2. Authorized use

Users must use only the account and access assigned to them. Users must not attempt to access another user's private information, bypass access controls, misuse connected accounts or use YCH Assistant for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.

3. Client and prospect information

Users are responsible for entering and handling client and prospect information appropriately and for complying with applicable privacy, confidentiality, insurance and regulatory requirements. YCH Assistant is designed to apply access controls so records remain associated with the appropriate agent or authorized workflow.

4. Google Calendar integration

Google Calendar integration is optional and requires the user to authorize access through Google. When connected, YCH Assistant may use the permissions granted by the user to provide scheduling functions such as reading calendar information, checking availability and creating, updating or deleting events at the user's request.

Users can disconnect the Google Calendar integration. Google's own terms and policies also apply to the user's use of Google services.

5. AI-generated assistance

YCH Assistant may generate suggestions, summaries, reminders, preparation points or other AI-assisted output. Users remain responsible for reviewing important information and exercising professional judgment before relying on or sending material to clients or prospects.

6. Insurance and regulatory information

YCH Assistant is not an insurer and does not replace official product documentation, policy contracts, underwriting decisions, regulatory requirements or insurer-issued instructions. Where there is a conflict, the applicable official source controls.

7. Availability and changes

YCH may modify, suspend or improve features as needed for reliability, security, compliance or product development. We may also restrict access where necessary to protect users, data or the service.

8. Privacy

Use of personal information and Google-derived data is described in the YCH Assistant Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Security responsibilities

Users must protect their login credentials, connected accounts and devices. Suspected unauthorized access or misuse should be reported promptly through the YCH support channel.

10. Limitation of responsibility

YCH Assistant is provided as an operational support tool. To the extent permitted by applicable law, YCH is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized use, inaccurate user-provided information, third-party service outages or a user's failure to verify information that reasonably requires professional review.

11. Suspension or termination

Access may be suspended or terminated if a user is no longer authorized, materially breaches these terms, creates a security risk or uses the service in a way that may harm clients, other users or YCH.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when YCH Assistant changes. The effective date above will be updated when revised terms are published.
